Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR.Ratios: 1:5-6.Unit will accept contracts from 13 weeks+ up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop) to get the Unit through the Holidays!SHIFT: 12 HOUR DAYSFloat Requirement: Yes.Weekend Requirement: Every Other.PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Renal and limb preservation patients (lower extremity), patients include ESRD, ARF, vascular procedures, CHF, diabetics, diabetic foot ulcerSPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: Unit is a 41 bed inpatient unit with telemetry capability with a focus on renal and limb preservation patients. Patients who receive hemodialysis will receive treatments in our hemodialysis unit. Peritoneal dialysis patients will receive treatments on the unit with initiation by the dialysis team. Our interdisciplinary team consists of: hospitalist, RN navigator, RNs, NAs, receptionist, dietary, PT/OT, pharmacy. This team meets on a daily basis to ensure best care is provided for our patients.UNIT SYSTEMS: Pyxis, EPIC, SBARSCHEDULING TYPE: Self-Scheduling, per the Unit NeedsUNIT ORIENTATION: 24 hours of orientation (2 shifts with preceptor plus EMR education)SCRUBS: Not provided – Colors: Navy or WhiteJob Requirements
