Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical31 bed medical surgical unitPrimary diagnosis include Sepsis, COPD, Pneumonia, End Stage liver/Kidney Failure, Cellulitis, UTI, and ColitisUnit receives medical transfers out of all ICU'S, Telemetry and Neuroscience departmentsPosition provides optimal patient care utilizing the nursing processIncumbent is accountable for individualized patient outcomes over an entire episode of careComprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult and geriatric patients, including their families/caregiversPosition challenged to diagnose and treat human responses to health problemsMust provide optimal patient/resident care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluationScientific knowledge base and ongoing growth and learning requiredCoordinates care between other professionals as neededIntensive continuous mental effort required to provide optimal safe patient care and exercise judgments and making decisionsJob Requirements
