As a
Outbound Supply Chain Specialist
in IDEXX's Westbrook distribution center, you may perform a variety of tasks including pick, pack, load, and shipping of our products to customers and distribution centers. You will ensure accuracy of documentation and shipments, troubleshoot and resolve issues as required while maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse and environment.

Schedule
This is a full-time, flexible 1st shift position, Monday-Friday.
This position is eligible for a $1 pay differential for driving a forklift once certified through our in-house training program!
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
May be responsible for any or all of the following:
Picks, packs, loads and ships products to national and international customers and distribution centersWorking with finished goods from kit manufacturing in our temperature-controlled area for extended periods of timePrepares documentation and products, ensures accuracy of documentation and shipments, and troubleshoots and resolves issues as requiredAssists with or coordinates international shipping; reviews, reconciles and approves all incoming international vendor billsMaintains a clean, orderly and safe warehouse and environmentInvestigates and resolves inventory inaccuracies and provides root cause analysis and recommendations for corrective actionsSupports inventory processes, solutions and strategies for the continuous improvement of inventory accuracy and order fulfillment quality; includes cycle counts, data entry, tracking, reconciling, documenting and reportingMoves and stores equipment, raw materials and inventory for internal and external customersEducation
High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required.Required Skills and Abilities
Ability to work well under pressure and tight time constraintsAbility to effectively function in a team environmentAbility to prioritize work and handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyGood computer skills and knowledge including SAP, Microsoft Word and Excel preferredExcellent customer service skillsAbility to work flexible hoursAble to follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and applicable ISO regulationsAble to properly lift up to 70 pounds; ability to move up to 100 pounds with assistanceFor distribution and material handling work: Certificate to operate a forklift may be required; certificate to work with hazardous materials may be required; knowledge of export documentation and international traffic may be required; previous experience with dangerous goods is preferred; knowledge of customs rules, regulations and export documentation preferredPhysical Demands

Normal warehouse environment where protective clothing may be requiredModerate to high noise levelWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and can be exposed to risk of electrical shock.
