As a
Senior Data Analyst
on the Point of Care (POC) Analytics Team, you will design, build, and deploy analytical solutions using a variety of tools, providing actionable business intelligence to POC leadership and other stakeholders at IDEXX. You will deliver data-driven recommendations, strategic insights, and intuitive dashboards and reports that support business growth, operational planning, and strategic initiatives.This is a hybrid role with two days per week on-site at the Westbrook, ME campus.You will be part of a full-service analytics team that develops robust data pipelines, curates data sets, and delivers operational reporting and dynamic dashboards to inform critical business decisions. This high-visibility role will require partnering with global stakeholders, including POC product management teams, sales, marketing, finance, customer support, and supply chain, to drive performance, enhance customer outcomes, and meet IDEXX's strategic goals.In this role you will:Partner with senior stakeholders in product management to deliver high-impact reporting, analysis, and recommendations.Develop knowledge of IDEXX data systems and processes, provide recommendations for improvement, and maintain written documentation related to data analysis.Design, implement, and deliver standard and ad hoc reports to support data-driven analysis and decision-making for multiple initiatives, projects, and programs.Perform data analyses using appropriate statistical methods and graphical display standards to uncover insights.Present reports and data insights to internal customers, providing actionable recommendations to business partners.Develop, enhance, and maintain high-quality reporting systems and dashboards that generate reliable, repeatable, and trusted results.Actively seek opportunities for continuous learning and professional development to enhance your skills and contribute effectively to the POC analytics team.What do you need to succeed?Advanced knowledge of SQL, Python, R, or similar programming languages for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.Experience in working with 'big' datasets and producing descriptive and predictive analyses.Experience in visualizing business insights in tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, QuickSight or similar.Experience working with relational databases such as Snowflake, Oracle PostgreSQL, Redshift etc.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written and can translate technical subject matter to non-technical audiences (both as a speaker and listener).Understanding of various database structures and command methods in data transformation, cleansing, and validation.Why IDEXX:We're proud of the work we do because our work matters.
