antepartum: assess all triage patients >20 weeksuse obstetric triage acuity toolslabor assessment and evaluationfetal evaluation and assessmentevaluation for labor at term, PTL signs, s/s of preeclampsia, rupture of membranes, decreased fetal movement, preterm premature rupture of membranes, vaginal bleeding, acute and critical conditions, such as MVA, large abruptio placentaeif emergency medical condition is determined to exist must stabilize the patient for delivery or transfer to higher level of care if neededIntrapartum: labor assessment, evaluation, and carefetal evaluation and assessmentpreparation of expectant mother for safe deliveryadministration of medications including but not limited to: Pitocin, misoprostol, methergine, hemabate, mag sulfate, terbutaline, labetalol, nifedipine, hydralazine, insulinimmediate stabilization of newbornadminister newborn medicationsprep for scheduled or emergency cesarean deliveryPostpartum/Newborn: assessment and care of postpartum (vaginal and cesarean deliveries) and newborn patientsnewborn care includes (but not limited to): hearing screen, assisting with laboratory draws, IV starts and care, medication administration (hep B, vit K, erythromycin, antibiotics), assist with circumcisions, care of opiate withdrawal newborns, stabilization of critically ill newborns for transport, phototherapy, hypoglycemia careAdditional Details

Travelers must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from last day worked, in order to be considered for a travel positionTravelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned locationState tax is passed through to your agency and will be reflected on your invoice.
