About the Position:
The Revenue Accounting Manager will oversee the revenue recognition process, from contract review to revenue recognition. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of US GAAP revenue recognition principles.
As a Revenue Accounting Manager, you will:
Ensure the revenue is accurately and timely recognizedReview supporting evidence (such as proof of delivery and signed contracts) and provide accounting expertise in revenue recognition processes, including product catalogue, customer, subscription set-ups in billing and accounting systems.Prepare and update accounting schedules to calculate ASC 606 revenuePerform analytical reviews on the monthly Revenue Analytics and Balance Sheet account reconciliationsClearly communicate to our internal partners (e.g. FP&A and the business) on revenue trends and fluxPrepare supporting schedules and pull requested documents for audits.Collaborate with internal stakeholders, seeking opportunities to improve our data and processesAssist with compiling and reviewing system/data conversion files for new acquisitions and/or system upgrades.Provide coach and support to team members.You are a strong fit for this role if you have :
Minimum of bachelor's degree in accounting, and/or CPA.Strong technical accounting knowledge of ASC 606 with 4+ years of professional experience in the SaaS industry.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent knowledge of Excel.Proficiency in revenue management software and tools, preferably Salesforce, Zuora RevPro.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Benefits:
