Experience must be from a dedicated children's facility, not a general or adult facility with experience from a peds unit.Seeking strong pediatric ICU skill set; therapists who can jump in and work across at least two of the three ICUs including a Level IV NICU, Level I PICU, and/or the Cardiothoracic ICU.Patient Population: Pediatric care from acute care on the floors, pulmonary floor (treating pts with asthma, bronchiolitis, cerebral palsy, developmental delay, cystic fibrosis, tracheostomy-ventilated support), trauma, Medical (treating pts with bronchitis, asthma, pneumonia), PICU (treating mostly intubated pts and therapies including specialty gases heliox/iNO), NICU and CTICU where heart transplants are performed. California RCP License in handRRT national credential required; RRT-NPS preferred2 years' of recent pediatric ICU experience from a children’s hospitalExperience with trachs and vents, suctioning, and oxygen. Must have in hand or registered for an Advanced class in which they will have in hand prior to start date.Flu shot requiredSchedule Information
3x12 NightsWeekend shifts per contract: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period. It will be 2 full weekends in a 4-week schedule block. Scheduling blocks are 4 weeks long. They try to schedule staff and travelers every other weekend off, if possible, but not guaranteed. Day shift weekends are considered Saturdays and SundaysRTO: 6 days max. All RTO required up front, no exceptionsMust be available to work 2 out of 3 holidaysUnit Specific Information
