Immediately Hiring for an Environmental Scientists in NYCSummary of role:Preform Environmental Science and Inspection DutiesMix of Hazardous Material and Phase I/Phase II workBe client facingProject Management dutiesWill have the opportunity to work from home or in the office when not in the fieldDescription:Perform inspections for asbestos and moldPrepare reports based on findingsGroundwater Sampling, Soil SamplingPhase I Phase II workCollaborate with architects and engineersCreate abatement/remediation construction documentsPrepare site-specific variance petitionsReview submittals and provide clarifications during constructionQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field2-5 years of experience in Environmental ScienceExperienced with Inspection and Remediation monitoringFully licensed with valid NYS DOL Certifications and HAZMATExperienced with Environmental Inspections involving hazardous materialExperienced with Soil Sampling, Groundwater SamplingExperienced working on New York City Government Agency projects - DASNYAbout ActalentActalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
