Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Emergency Room Job Duration: 104 weeks Shift: 12x3 Night - 07:30 PM - 08:00 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36.00 hours per week Experience: Two years of emergency room experience required License: New York State RN License with Primary Source Verification Certifications: - AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)- AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) - required at specific facilities Must-Have: - IV insertion and phlebotomy skills- Conscious sedation experience- Proficiency in English (read, write, speak) Job Description: - Provide high-quality nursing care in an emergency room setting- Perform IV insertions and phlebotomy- Administer conscious sedation as needed- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide optimal patient care- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
