Certification Details ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC BLS- required for all ACLS required for ER, ICU, and Tele Job Details Specialty: Clinical Support Unit Boise Hospital (Critical Care) - RN Facility: St Lukes Boise Medical Center Contract Length: 20.0 weeks Job Requirements ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC certifications Experience: Must have 2 years experience in specialty and previous travel experience Experience: Highly prefer antepartum and mother baby experience for L&D travelers Are RNs required to titrate drips: ICU, ER, Tele, MedSurg, ICU, and PICU will be required to titrate Schedule Information Shifts: 0700-1900 or 1900-0700 No self-scheduling Weekend Requirements: Every other Holiday Requirements: Will fill in if there is a need Travelers will be 1st to float can midshift float - can float at any time during shift to different units and facilities, whenever there is a need Unit Specific Information Unit: Clinical Support Unit - RN Float Pool What units are included in the float pool: ER, ICU, MedSurg, Tele, L&D/PP, NICU at 3 facilities - Boise, Meridian, and Nampa RNs will only float in their speciality, will never float to a lower acuity Common titratable &/or set rate drips: MedSurg- insulin Charge nurse on all units Float pool leadership team including educator and admin have a shared email Nurse aids/patient care techs on the units: Yes, ratios: anywhere from 1:8-10 depending on floor and day RT Equipment: Specifics will be provided by unit managers Tele/monitor techs on the units: ICU, ER, Tele, and PICU must read and interpret Additional Details Nurse:Patient Ratios: ER: 1:4, ICU: 1:1-2, MedSurg: 1:5, Tele: 1:4, Peds: 1:3, NICU 1:4 Travelers will have an app, 1 hour before shift starts will see what hospital and unit you are going to Travelers will be 1st to float can midshift float - can float at any time during shift to different units and facilities, whenever there is a need This facility has a radius rule of 50 miles.
