A hospital in Arizona is looking for experienced nurses for a travel contract for their MS/Tele float pool.The right candidate will have 2+ years of current tele experience, an active BLS, ACLS and AZ license or compact.TRAVELERS MUST BE ABLE TO TITRATE DRIPS!!Travelers will need to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to start (WITH 2 MAX ATTEMPTS), within 48 hours of offer.There is also a pass/fail Sim Lab on day one of orientation (study guides will be provided with first-day instructions). If traveler fails Sim, they will be sent home and made a DNUFloating is required. Depending on skill level, nurses will float to ICU, Cardiac Tele, as well as all Tele units, MedSurg, any & every holding area.Job Requirements

CV Tele B3A is a 32 bed unit with a ratio of 1:3-4 and has centralized tele with no vents.Neuro A3 is a 28 bed neuro post-surgical/spine/CVAs unit with a ratio of 1:3-4 and centralized tele with no ICP monitoring.MedSurg C5 is an Ortho, Surgical, Oncology, 32 beds unit with a ratio of 1:4 and mostly surgical patients.MedSurg B2C is a General MedSurg unit with 29 beds, a ratio of 1:4, and Amio, Cardizem to titrate down only.Additional Details
Notification of campus and unit given 1.5 hrs prior to shift start.Floating to different units mid-shift can happen.Rare to float to another campus within a single shift, but possible.The distance between the 2 campuses is 9 miles.Must clock-out when leaving one campus then clock-in when arrive at the other campus.
