Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Set-up, adjust and operate all of the machines in the grinding department including any inspection equipment required for jobVerify dimensions and stamp on/off the job for conformance to blueprint/set-up sheet specificationsRead blueprints/set-up sheets and shop orders for product specifications such as dimension, tolerances and number of pieces to be ground, and tooling instructions, such as grinding speeds, feed ratios, holding fixtures and grinding wheel to be used6SPreventative MaintenanceMake adjustments when dimensions are unacceptable and correct machine to produce quality productNital etch training and certificationProduce parts at an acceptable rateIf work in a FAA safety sensitive area, must participate in the anti-drug and alcohol random testing programTrain other operators as requiredPerform job functions and tasks required by management and supervisorsSafety conscious
Qualifications:Due to ITAR regulations, must be a U.S. PersonHigh school diploma or equivalent
Language, Math, and Reasoning Ability:Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, drawings, set-up sheets, travelers, procedure manuals and government regulations.
Computer Skills:Must be able to use the computer and computer software as required by job.
