Non-acute care is offered through various affiliates, including the Thompson House for rehabilitation and skilled nursing services, and the Home Care organizations.Summary:Utilizes the principles of the nursing process to provide for continuity and quality of nursing care administered to a specific group of neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult or geriatric patients consistent with the philosophy, goals, policies and procedures of the Nursing Department and Hospital Administration. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care to the age of the patient served on the nursing unit or by patient care departments.JOB QUALIFICATIONSEducation: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; BSN Preferred.Experience: Must have a minimum of 3 years of Med/Surg experienceLicense: Have a current license issued by New York State to practice as a registered nurse.
