Overview
As a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) with Dignity Health Medical Group in Arizona, you will provide anesthesia services for patients requiring surgery and any other procedures requiring an anesthetic ensuring they receive excellent nursing when they are at their most vulnerable.
Every day you will answer questions about the procedure and recovery, perform patient assessments, make sure the equipment is ready to go, prepare anesthetic for patients, monitor patients vitals during surgery and oversee patient recovery.
To be successful in this role you must have the ability to maintain focus while multitasking, remain calm under pressure, and exercise good judgment in emergency situations.

Dignity Health Medical Group is the employed physician group of Dignity Health Arizona. Dignity Health Medical Group (DHMG) employs approximately 200 providers and 500 support staff that cover a wide variety of specialties. The medical group has had tremendous success over the past few years and now provides more than 73 subspecialty services. The physicians provide clinical services in their areas of specialty and many serve in pivotal academic research and leadership roles. DHMG is also heavily involved in preparing tomorrow's healthcare providers. DHMG has 84 medical school students and approximately 200 residents and fellows throughout the 25 academic programs. Responsibilities
Following is a summary of what you can expect in this role:
- Provide anesthesia services for OB patients requiring surgery and other procedures, ensuring they receive excellent care when they are at their most vulnerable.
- OB coverage
- Includes high risk OB
- Department manages approximately 4500 cases per year
- Anesthetic management of patients undergoing surgical procedures and/or providing labor pain management
- Airway management
- Assist in cardiopulmonary resuscitation
- Answer questions about procedures and recovery, perform patient assessments, ensure the equipment is ready, prepare anesthetic for patients, monitor patients vitals during surgery and oversee patient recovery
- Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement for patient care
- Work within a multidisciplinary team
- Additional duties as assigned by clinical or operational leadership

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (BSN)
Preferred: Master of Medical Science in Anesthesiology
Licensure:
Completion of nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor
- Active Registered Nurse license in good standing with the Arizona State Board of Nursing
- Active Nurse Anesthetist certification issued by Arizona Board of Nurse Anesthetists
- Current certification as a CRNA through the National Board of Certification & Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
- American Heart Association Basic LIfe Support (BLS)
- American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Experience:
- Two (2) Years Of Experience as a CRNA preferred
- Experience as a CRNA in OB

Pay Range
$120.00 - $120.00 /hour
