The Director of Performance Improvement and Project Manager within the Mental Health and Substance Abuse Treatment Services (MHSATS) division is a high-level management position that works across MHSATS in partnership with executive leaders, counties, tribes, and other stakeholders to improve planning and analytics to achieve outcomes for people served.

This position provides decision-making, coordination, and oversight, as well as tactical and administrative management. The position directs strategic planning, organizational development, continuous improvement, evaluation, change management, project management, and analytics for MHSATS. In this role, you will collaborate directly with executive management to develop, promote, and maintain high quality outcomes for MHSATS-wide initiatives. Also, assisting the Executive Director in planning for and managing change processes focused on continuous improvement and organizational development, aimed to meet strategic objectives.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5 years of demonstrated healthcare leadership experience in all the following:

  • Continuous Improvement

  • Project Managament/Leading large-scale projects

  • Strategic planning

  • Program evaluation

  • Healthcare data analytics

AND

  • Experience developing, implementing and continually improving processes,and utilizing staffresourcesnecessary to achieve strategic objectives and associated projects aimed to improve organizational outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or higher-level degree in Social Work, Nursing, Sociology, Psychology or other fields closely related to healthcare or healthcare management.

  • Knowledge and experience with the Baldrige Excellence Framework for healthcare

  • Continuous Improvement certification (i.e. Green, Black or Master Black Belt)

  • Clinical licensure

  • Three years of senior leadership experience

  • Experience using project management software to manage large projects and teams.
