Job Description

An outstanding opportunity for Associate Attorney awaits at one of California's premier boutique law firms advocating for workers rights. We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Associate Attorney with an interest in handling settlement negotiations, working with senior attorneys and other counsel and finalizing legal matters in employment disputes. This role is ideal for someone looking to build expertise in business and settlement transactions with a recognized practice.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in negotiating and finalizing settlements
  • Draft and review settlement agreements and transaction related documents
  • Manage and assist in all aspects of settlement transactions, including document preparation, review, and final execution
  • Coordinate with clients, senior attorneys, and external parties to ensure smooth case resolution
  • Provide support on broader business transactions and legal issues as needed
  • Conduct legal research related to settlement issues and business matters
Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the California Bar
  • 0-2 years of experience, preferably with some exposure to settlements, business transactions, or related matters
  • Exceptional communication skills, collaborates well with a team and others
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously
  • Proficiency in legal drafting and transactional document preparation
  • A team-oriented mindset with a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
