LPN:
The LPN cares for and treats patients in a medical office, as directed by the provider. Prepares the patient for and assists with examinations. Administers injections and medications, dresses wounds and incisions, interprets physician instructions to patients, assists with emergency and minor surgery and performs related tasks as directed. Under the direction of the physician, the office nurse is responsible for receiving and triaging incoming calls requiring a nurse assessment and intervention. Maintains records of vital statistics and other pertinent patient data. Cleans and sterilizes instruments and equipment and maintains stock of supplies. May conduct specified laboratory tests, may record and develop electrocardiograms, and may act as a receptionist, perform secretarial duties and prepare monthly statements.
CMA:
An assisting position responsible for performing a variety of duties under the direct supervision of a physician. Involves both clinical and clerical duties including, but not limited to: assisting physician with patient care such as rooming the patient, obtaining vital signs, documenting reason for visit, assisting with procedures and in-office testing; clerical such as scheduling appointments, pre-certs for procedures and referrals; ,and environmental tasks. Such as cleaning and ordering of supplies. The CMA recognizes his or her role and participates as a member of the interdisciplinary team working towards attaining Adams Memorial Health Network’s mission, vision, and values.
Eligible for medical coverage on your first day of employment, all other benefits will be effective the 1st of the month following hire date!
Requirements:
40 hours per week - First Shift
Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
Valid LPN license in the State of Indiana or current CMA certification
