We're looking for a paralegal with litigation experience to be the backbone of our criminal law practice! You will need to manage all the details through each phase of litigation, including investigation, discovery, pleadings, and trial. You will work side by side with attorneys, assisting in depositions, preparing witnesses, and research. You will help determine exhibits and prepare them for hearings and trials. Additionally, you will need to assist the attorneys you work with at each phase of litigation in and out of court. We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Paralegal with proficiency in the legal matters of Criminal Law to join our staff in Downtown Oklahoma City, OK. Responsibilities: • Drafting pleadings and motions for criminal law matters • Responding to correspondence from opposing counsel and courts • Case manager for all criminal law matters • Filing pleadings in the district and federal court • Docketing events and handling attorney schedules • Billing for your time working on files Qualifications: • Paralegal experience in criminal law • Drafting of simple legal pleadings and motions • Collection and organization of client documents and exhibits • Litigation experience • Client relation skills Compensation: $40,000 - $55,000 yearly
