The Financial Analyst is primarily responsible for consolidating data, analyzing variances, and forecasting outcomes. Using theoretical and historical information to create key metrics, monitoring, trends planning, and analysis for key decisions. This position reports directly to the Director of FP&A and works in a collaborative fashion with several departments in the company.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL YOU MUST
Deliver operational insights by utilizing problem solving and analytical skills to aggregate data from a variety of datasets, and performs qualitative and quantitative analyses utilizing excel and other statistical tools.Build financial models on P&L and cash flow.Support forecasts, annual planning, and budgeting.Continually improves and develops tools/systems and automation processes to collect and analyze data.Actively participate and gain knowledge of operations and departments in order to identify where to find data and what story the data may be telling.Determines ways to automate key data for users.Supports executive and others in pulling and analyzing data for presentations.Builds dashboards and regular reporting rhythms to keep all stakeholders informed about relevant information in their role.WHY YOU'LL LOVE UPWARD PROJECTS

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or related discipline is required.2 years or more experience in an analytical position preferred.Experience working within the food and beverage industry is preferred.Proven ability to produce financial modeling, financial analysis and business planning that helps drive key business decisions - including building out the three financial statements based on historical data.Strong excel skills required. R, Python, Power BI and Tableau preferred.
Salary Description
$65,000 to $75,000 base salary
