About the role Bold Commerce is seeking a true SEO Expert for an Exciting Top-Secret Project This role is perfect for an experienced SEO professional who is ready to fully own and lead a high-impact project. You'll have complete strategic control and full autonomy over everything on this new site - from content and site structure to technology and off-page optimization. If you're passionate about driving results and taking ownership of a from-the-ground-up SEO-driven initiative, this could be your dream role Secondarily, the role will own optimizing Bold's presence on the Shopify App Store, ensuring high visibility and strong rankings among competitors. What you'll do Take full ownership of the top-secret site, including on-page, off-page, and technical SEO, to maximize search engine rankings and drive organic growth. Lead content strategy, ensuring SEO-optimized content aligns with overall business goals. Implement and manage technical SEO improvements, such as site architecture, page speed, mobile optimization, and schema markup, to ensure optimal website performance. Develop and execute off-page SEO strategies, including link-building and partnerships to improve authority and rankings. Use SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Ahrefs (or their alternatives) to monitor performance, identify trends, and generate actionable reports. Evaluate and select the best SEO tools for reporting, analysis, and optimization, customizing them as needed for project-specific requirements. Communicate SEO goals and strategies to cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with content, product, and marketing efforts. Act as the SEO expert, educating internal stakeholders on best practices and explaining SEO initiatives in a clear and accessible way. What you need 5 years of SEO experience, with a proven track record of driving organic growth through on-page, off-page, and technical SEO strategies. Passionate about SEO beyond your day job, always learning and experimenting to stay ahead of the curve. Deep understanding of SEO's role in content marketing and the ability to guide content creation for organic growth while aligning with business goals. Expert in technical SEO, comfortable with site tools like WordPress, and adept at optimizing site speed, schema markup, and site architecture. Proficient in using analytics tools like Google Analytics and Search Console to derive insights, track metrics, and make data-driven decisions. Effective communicator, able to clearly explain SEO strategies to non-technical stakeholders and foster team collaboration on SEO initiatives. Thrives on challenges and driven to find innovative solutions that achieve results.
