McDonald Mfg. Co. oversees and manages Territory Managers, handling their hiring, training, and performance reviews. The role involves extensive travel to coach salespeople, meet key customers, attend trade shows, and promote products. Key duties include setting sales quotas, establishing pricing, launching new products, researching market trends, tracking competitors, coordinating with vendors, and communicating regional updates to company leadership & management.**Responsibilities include; but not limited to:**+ Supervise and provide guidance to Territory Managers, including conducting annual performance reviews+ Meet regularly with key prospective and current customers to strengthen relationships and drive sales growth+ Travel extensively to coach Territory Managers and support sales activities in the field+ Represent the company at trade shows and industry events to promote products and build brand awareness+ Establish and manage sales quotas to achieve regional sales objectives+ Oversee the hiring, training, and termination of Territory Managers as needed+ Monitor and document competitors' actions and market activities+ Collaborate with vendors on purchasing and selling agreements to optimize inventory and product offerings+ Lead new product introductions and study market trends to support product development strategies+ Develop and implement territorial and regional pricing strategies to remain competitive and maximize profitability+ Communicate regional market trends, challenges, and opportunities to product managers and the Vice President of Sales to align sales strategies with overall business goals+ Exercise strong leadership and management skills in line with company policies and applicable laws+ Reviews and approves all VIP Tour visits with Territory Managers to meet company expectations and goals+ Responsible for preparing regional board reports to be submitted to the Vice President of Sales quarterly+ Review and approve all Territory Managers expenses and budgets**Required Qualifications:**A four-year degree in business or a related field; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.**Benefits:**Benefits include major medical (BCBS), Delta dental and vision, company sponsored basic life insurance and short-term disability.
