What level Clearance do I need? You must possess an active Top Secret clearance.

What will I be doing? You will be supporting USSTRATCOM JEMSO missions to provide the JEMSO Director with Planning, Analysis, Spectrum Management, and Intelligence support. In addition, you will support Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) for JCER to accomplish Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO) readiness evaluations. In this role, you will be:
Operating as the CSSO ISSO for all issues related to the systems and networks within their area of operations to include in collateral, SCIF, and/or SAP areas. Coordinating support from other IT members as needed based on their accesses; Investigating elevated issues by confirming the validity of the problem and finding solutions related to the more complex issues; Conducting switch and TACLANE management, guest and standalone system management, data backups and recovery, backend support, exercise and event support, ISSO duties, and delegating to lower-level IT as required; Conducting preventive and corrective maintenance to include security scans, backups, patches, updates, upgrades, hardware checks, and IT file management. Investigating and diagnosing assigned incidents and tickets to restore failed IT services as soon as possible. Resolving incidents as able. Keeping users informed regarding incident statuses. Escalating major and unresolved incidents to higher level IT support if needed. Documenting troubleshooting steps and service restoration details; and Implementing security improvements by assessing baselines, evaluating trends, and anticipating requirements. Applies updates to software, drivers, and firmware as needed to protect against vulnerabilities. Other duties as assigned What experience, training, and education do I need?
You must meet the minimum requirements:
5+ years of demonstrated relevant experience, to include:
Experience functioning as the ISSO responsible for the training of users on the use of software and hardware for installation operations and tactical environments; Experience installing, sustaining, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and upgrading IT assets including data, voice, and video networks, LANS/WANS, VOIPs, and multiple video network infrastructure systems at multiple classification levels; Experience implementing data security measures, monitoring networks and accesses, performing vulnerability and risk assessments, performing security updates, and ensuring compliance with security measures; Experience standardizing, updating, and maintaining a media control program. Ensuring that policies, procedures, and processes are in place for the equipment, storage, handling, organization, and control of media within an organization; Experience securing and hardening network devices with current DISA STIGs standards. Acting as a COMSEC Responsibility Officer and/or Secure Voice Responsibility Officer. Re-keying TACLANEs and updating firmware; Experience updating and managing standalone systems and network devices. Creating and managing system permissions and user accounts. Performing regular security tests and security monitoring. Upgrading, installing, and configuring application software and computer hardware. Maintaining a repository of all organizational or system-level cybersecurity-related documentation (including ATOs) for systems under their purview; Experience Implementing automated software solutions. Planning for redundancies, rollovers & recoveries of systems and networks.
