What level Clearance do I need? You must possess an active Top Secret clearance.

What are the hours? This is a part-time position. The position will require approximately 10 hours a week.
What will I be doing? Using your expertise in Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO), you will be a designated Subject Matter Expert (SME) supporting various programs across the Department of Defense (DoD) and other services, focusing on operations, Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO), Special Access Programs (SAP), Special Technical Operations (STO), and JEMSO policy.
In this role, you will:
Support agency leadership among programs across DOD/Services focused on operations, EMSO, SAP/STO, and JEMSO policy Attend meetings, conferences, and events in the NCR on behalf of JCER when travel is not feasible; Advise JCER leadership on current National policy, JEMSO strategy, and associated publications Advise JCER leadership on recommendations of JCER mission, strategy, policy, and objectives Conduct research on EMS issues, obtain relevant DOD documents, conduct studies, analyze operations and develop required documentation to effectively and efficiently execute agency mission Coordinate with Joint Staff and OSD to determine and evaluate JEMSO readiness metrics Analyze and report of assessments over the full spectrum of LVC Environments Obtain current information on rapidly evolving EMSO and cyber threats, assess said information for impact, and incorporate changes into evaluation planning for same Develop and produce strategies to mitigate gaps and vulnerabilities of identified JEMSO capabilities Translate the impacts of emerging strategies to CCMDs, Services, and other Defense Agencies Assess Multi-Service and Joint TTPs to address focus area requirements Other duties as assigned What experience, training, and education do I need?
You must meet the minimum requirements:
20+ years of demonstrated relevant experience in JEMSO operations, designated as a SME, to include: Obtaining current information on rapidly evolving EMSO and cyber threats, assess said information for impact, and incorporate changes into evaluation planning for same Developing and produce strategies to mitigate gaps and vulnerabilities of identified JEMSO capabilities Translating the impacts of emerging strategies to CCMDs, Services, and other Defense Agencies Assessing Multi-Service and Joint TTPs to address focus area requirements
Ability to attend local DC meetings and engage personally with DC/NCR agencies Active Top Secret clearance
Where is the client site that I would be working for? You will be working in the DC area, address disclosed after your clearance is verified.
