Job Description:
Play a central role in providing compelling research and actionable insights to inform the strategy for a rapidly growing, core area of focus for Fidelity.
The Team
As part of the Health Insights and Strategic Initiatives team, the Senior Manager will work with other Competitive Intelligence professionals to surface and present impactful insights about Fidelity's competitors and the rapidly evolving landscape in which we compete. Working alongside Thought Leadership and our Strategic Initiatives team, you will have an opportunity to influence Fidelity's strategy. In addition, your work will bring you in frequent contact with a wide variety of stakeholders throughout Fidelity, external contacts at conferences and events, and third-party research providers. Our mission is to provide relevant and timely insights, keeping our business partners up-to-date on key developments, trends, and market intelligence, enabling the business to compete effectively. The Expertise You HaveBachelor's degree requiredMinimum of four years of professional experienceProven ability to make complex topics digestibleTangible industry research expertise as one would acquire from experience as a research analyst, strategy consultant, etc.Demonstrated interest or experience in the health care industry; experience with employer-based health care benefits is ideal but not required

The successful person in this role will be a self-starter with investigative journalist skills and a strong ability to synthesize and share insights in ways that are meaningful to senior management and other stakeholders. You have strong communication, collaboration and relationship skills and you also demonstrate strong analytical capabilities. Possess a sense of ownership and ability to prioritize, to be responsible for the management of various research initiatives and ongoing competitive intelligence efforts. You will develop and publish market segment analytics and competitive deep dive analysis of existing and emerging competitors. Analyze the internal and external environmental factors (competitors and disruptors), in partnership with key stakeholders, and recommend appropriate actions and strategies to proactively address opportunities or risks.
