Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing test plans, performing manual and automated testing, and ensuring software quality by identifying defects before product releases. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, enhancing test automation frameworks, and continuously improving testing processes to deliver high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:•Collaborate with the product and development teams to understand product requirements.•Develop, document, and maintain test cases and test scripts based on functional and technical specifications.•Execute both manual and automated tests (functional, regression, performance, and load).•Identify, record, document, and track defects using tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).•Perform thorough regression testing when defects are resolved.•Ensure that all test results are well-documented and communicated to relevant teams.•Participate in Agile/Scrum teams and contribute to sprint planning and review meetings.•Continuously enhance test automation frameworks to improve test coverage and efficiency.•Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing.•Provide feedback on software usability and suggest improvements.

Required Qualifications:•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.•2-5 years of experience as a QA Engineer or similar role.•Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.•Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.•Hands-on experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).•Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured.•Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.•Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.•Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:•Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.

Certifications:•No specific certifications are required, but certifications in software testing or QA methodologies are a plus.
