**Job Title:** Registered Nurse

**Shift:** 11.5H Rotating (19:00-07:00 12 Hour PM-AM or 07:00-19:00 12 Hour AM-PM)
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36
**Experience:** Minimum of 1.5 years of recent equivalent experience
**License:** NH RN License or Compact License (Proof of State Residency Required)
**Certifications:** BLS (AHA Only)
**Must-Have:**- Experience with chest tubes- Experience with tubes and drips such as Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, or amiodarone- CPAP/BiPAP proficiency- Experience with lines, tubes, drains for post-surgical patients, trachs, laryngectomies- Telemetry skills- Experience with complex wounds- Central lines care and maintenance, including blood draws- Step-down experience
**Job Description:**
- Work in a state-of-the-art 16-bed progressive care unit focused on medically complex patients.- Provide care primarily for patients on the hospital medicine service.- Build professional development skills as part of a dynamic team environment.- Manage patients of all ages with complex needs and high acuity.- Maintain a patient ratio of 3:1 for both day and night shifts.- Charge nurse typically does not hold an assignment.- Collaborate effectively with two nursing assistants on the unit.- Preferred experience with arterial line management.
