This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a challenging and rewarding career opportunity for those passionate about the construction industry. The successful candidate will have the chance to work on a variety of projects, from commercial buildings to residential developments, and will play a crucial role in ensuring their successful completion.Responsibilities:As a Construction Administrator, you will be responsible for:1. Reviewing and interpreting architectural drawings and designs to ensure accuracy and feasibility.2. Taking projects through the construction phase, coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.3. Preparing and managing project submittals, ensuring all documentation is accurate and submitted on time.4. Utilizing software tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, and Revit to manage projects and create detailed plans.5. Regularly walking job sites to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.6. Implementing and overseeing process management systems to improve efficiency and reduce waste.7. Conducting cost estimates and managing budgets to ensure projects stay within financial parameters.8. Ensuring quality control measures are in place and adhered to, maintaining the highest standards of workmanship on all projects.9. Contract Management: Negotiating, preparing, and enforcing contracts with clients and suppliers.10. Managing project timelines, coordinating team members, and ensuring deadlines are met.Qualifications:To be successful in this role, the candidate must possess the following qualifications:1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, ideally in a similar role.2. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.3. Strong knowledge of construction management principles and best practices.4. Experience with contract management, including negotiation and enforcement.5. Proficiency in using software tools such as AutoCAD, Procore, Bluebeam, and Revit.6. Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.7. Strong project management skills, with a proven track record of successfully taking projects through the construction phase.8. Experience in cost estimating and budget management.9. Exceptional quality control skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.10. In-field experience, with the ability to effectively walk job sites and identify potential issues.11. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.12. A degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
