Registered Nurse position in Labor and DeliveryStart dates: ASAPGuaranteed Hours Per Week: 36 (3 12 hour shifts)General Job Duties: Labor/Delivery & Postpartum care (taking care of patient and newborn). For pain management we do epidurals, intrathecals, water labor, water births, Nitrous Oxide & pain meds. Scrubs can be provided as well.Job Requirements
Minimum Experience (yrs in specialty): 2 yearsCharting Experience: OBIX for fetal monitoring and chart the strips in EPICDesired Unit Specific Skillset: Labor/Delivery and Postpartum trainedSchedule Information
Shift Requirements: shift start and end times: 12hr DaysWeekend/Holiday Rotation Requirements: every other weekend/holidayUnit Specific Information
Unit Information (Bed size, Case types, Patient ratios, etc.): 3 LDRP's, with possibility of using 3 postpartum rooms if needed. Patient ratios depend on what is in the unit. Laboring & postpartum patients we follow the AWHONN guidelines. Ratio of laboring patients is 1 to 1 but can be 2 to 1 if busy. High-risk patients do not deliver here; no NICU available.Additional Details
Radius Rule: Contractors must live outside of 50 miles from facilityScrub Colors required: Any scrubs, clean and professional. Hospital provided scrubs required when patient going in for c-section.
