Controller

The Controller will lead the organization's accounting department, ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with regulatory requirements. This role involves managing financial reporting, budgeting, audits, and supervising accounting staff. The Controller will work closely with senior leadership to provide insights on financial trends and risks, supporting strategic decision-making.

Description

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including AP/AR, payroll, and reconciliations.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Manage annual audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and enforce internal financial controls and policies.
• Supervise and mentor the accounting team, ensuring effective performance.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in accounting/finance, with a background in non-profit organizations preferred.
• Proficiency in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage Intacct).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
