UC Health is hiring an IT Systems Analyst for the Laboratory Information Systems department Responsible for daily production support for the UCH Laboratory systems and implementation and support of designated Lab instrument interfaces and software applications in accordance with departmental standards and procedures. Works with users to define system functionality, information flow, reports and data requirements. Develops specifications and documents operational procedures, tests software, and coordinates software release procedures. Support of the Altera (Allscripts/Horizon) Laboratory Information System (LIS), Epic lab integration, Beckman Automation System and other Lab applications (PowerPath and Wellsky Transfusion/HCLL) and instrumentation. Completion of lab test build, testing and user acceptance coordination with Lab Operations. Develop and document operational procedures, test software, and coordinate software release procedures. Significant interaction with Lab Operations to research and complete test build and expert rules. Report writing and scheduling for Allscripts Lab reports utilizing ALAB, Crystal and Business Objects. Facilitates effective system design and definition. Works with users and teams to resolve issues. Define and design system tables, parameters and setup that optimize application functionality. Project leadership and support for various projects.
