PLEASE APPLY ON OUR WEBSITE: www.siertek.com/careers POSITION OVERVIEW SECTION USAFSAM provides data and services to globally distributed customers through the Human Performance Wing Support System (HPWS). HPWS is a ColdFusion and Oracle Web application that serves over 2.4 million views yearly to Air Force users worldwide. HPWS is maintained at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton Ohio by the HPWS Program Office (711 HPW/OMCI). The HPWS Program Office utilizes contract developer support to maintain and enhance software modules within the system. The purpose of this effort is to provide HPWS Web developer support to DCPH-D/OE. The Web Developer will work in the 711 HPW/OMCI office and will provide new and updated capabilities to existing modules within the HPWS that directly support DCPH-D/OE. Examples include Automated Sampling Guide (ASAGE), Radiation Dosimetry Web (RDW) and Master Radiation Exposure Registry (MRER), among others. Some of these modules also use Microsoft SQL Server to interface with other AF systems. These modules may store and process HIPAA-related data and require specialized information assurance controls and practices to comply with applicable HIPAA laws and regulations. The employee shall meet all requirements per the basic contract and provide professionally and technically qualified individual(s) to perform all tasks in the following paragraphs to fulfill the requirements Essential Job Functions Write web application code using Adobe ColdFusion, Oracle PL/SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery, to create new modules or to enhance existing modules within HPWS. Web developers who are new to HPWS shall be required to complete a two to four-week orientation & training period to introduce and acclimate them to the HPWS application framework. This period will include a training project where the Web developer shall be required to demonstrate their skills and technical ability writing ColdFusion, JavaScript, jQuery, Oracle SQL queries and DDL scripting directly within the HPWS development environment. Interact with the DCPH-D/OE office and the HPWS Program Office to obtain technical requirements for HPWS Web Development projects. Participate in the creation of technical documentation for DCPHD/OE office modules within HPWS. This includes writing functional requirements documents, system design documents, relational database diagrams (ERDs), test plans, deployment plans, training material, and other project management artifacts. Conduct analysis of existing module programming code and data models to understand current processing and to identify any deficits where the existing code may not be compliant with HIPAA information assurance controls. Work with the HPWS Program Office to identify, potentially redesign and re-write programming code to ensure DCPH-D/OE capabilities within HPWS more fully comply with HIPAA information assurance controls. Produce new capabilities within USAFSAM HPWS modules, based upon information contained within functional requirement specifications provided by the USAFSAM Front Office, DCPH-D/OE, and the HPWS Program Office.
