Engineering Delivery Lead - ETFs
Who we are looking for
We are looking for an Engineering Technical Analyst supporting our exchange traded fund (ETF) platforms. The selected candidate will have significant financial services experience, preferably with ETF instruments. This role requires strong analytical and interpersonal skills, good time management and an ability to translate business problems into technology solutions. This role is based in the greater Boston area and will work with State Street technology and business users from all global regions.
What you will be responsible for
We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced, and hands-on Technical Analyst to expand and transform State Street's Exchange Traded Platforms. The ideal candidate can anticipate platform enhancements based on industry trends, regulatory guidance and client demand. The Analyst with all levels of State Street leadership to coalesce requirements and prioritize demand. This role must deliver against large implementation programs with significant risk management adherence. The selected candidate takes charge of Agile stories, demand backlog and establishes a multi-year roadmap in consultation with our Delivery and Product organizations.
ResponsibilitiesPlatform and Product Analysis:
Lead requirements gathering sessions across disciplines, ensure adherence to the SDLC standards, project management and Agile practices. The Book of Work may include product development, platform enhancements, user experience (UX) design and system performance stories. Ensure all programs have clear Objectives/Key Results (OKRs) and measurable KPIs to assess progress. Collaborate with Engineering and Product owners to define program requirements, set priorities, and establish scope to efficiently deliver on shared goals. Create plans and roadmaps, identify and escalate risk to the portfolio.Agile Execution : Engage virtual, global teams on requirements authorship and demand prioritization. Leverage standard Agile metrics to identify areas of risk, under/over utilization, determine coaching needs, perform change management assessmentsRequirements and skills
6 - 8 years of experience successfully implementing and leading engineering technical analysisPrior experience of operating within large software developments portfoliosHands-on experience executing within cross-functional, global programsExperience of working with multiple stakeholders, influencing decision-makingThorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methodsPractical knowledge of Agile methodologyKnowledge of MS Office and change management software (Jira, etc.)Experience of working in Security Services industry or Financial Services sector. Exchange Trade Fund (ETF) knowledge is a plusProficiency with PL/SQLAbility to learn and absorb technical informationOutstanding leadership and organizational skillsExcellent nuanced communication skillsExcellent problem-solving abilityBSc/BA degree in, Engineering, Math, Science; MSc/MA is a plus
Additional Locations
Salary Range:$80,000 - $132,500 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
