Position Type: Full - Time Essential Functions: Assist with installing, configuring, tuning, and maintaining Oracle databases Monitor database performance/throughput Assist with routine backups Create, modify, and delete database accounts Perform daily checks on database servers Create reports to monitor database information and user activity Other duties as assigned or required Qualifications and Experience: Required: Associates degree required, or high school diploma with 2 years experience in Oracle database administration in lieu of degree CompTIA Security certification is required Security Clearance: Active TS/SSBI clearance desired or active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SSBI. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline is preferred. COVID-19 Procedures: On-boarding/training will be virtual and telework maximized/permitted to the greatest extent possible, however on-boarding/training/tasking may require on-site work a few hours per week during the current COVID-19 situation. Evening/weekend on-site support for upgrades/patching may also be required. Future on-site/telework requirements/schedules may change as additional client direction is received. On-site guidance regarding social distancing, PPE (wearing masks at all times), and proper hand-washing/sanitization procedures are followed.
