CTG is seeking to fill a Document Custodian Reviewer opening for our client in Buffalo, NY.**Location:** Buffalo, NY**Duration:** 12 months**Overview:**We are looking for a detail-oriented Document Custodian Reviewer to join our team. This entry-level position involves reviewing documents from institutional clients, identifying exceptions, and ensuring compliance with established guidelines. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a commitment to accuracy in a fast-paced environment.**Primary Responsibilities:**+ Complete basic data matching of documents based on agency guidelines or custodial agreements for non-agency documents.+ Match data in the Document Custody tracking system to original documents and update the system accordingly.+ Determine whether a document is an original or a copy, updating the tracking system as needed.+ Follow established procedures and review criteria.+ Document and report exceptions found during the review process.+ Adhere to the Company's risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls.+ Identify and escalate any risk-related issues to management.+ Promote a diverse and inclusive work environment that reflects the M&T Bank brand.+ Maintain internal control standards, addressing audit points and regulatory issues as necessary.+ Perform other related duties as assigned.**Scope of Responsibilities:**+ Review and match documents for accuracy and compliance.+ Maintain accurate records in the tracking system.+ Collaborate with team members to enhance workflow efficiency.**Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:**+ This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.**Education and Experience Required:**+ Associate's degree, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 2 years of higher education and/or work experience.+ Proficiency with personal computers and email software.+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.+ Good alpha/numeric skills.+ Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.**Education and Experience Preferred:**+ Ability to work under time constraints while maintaining a high level of accuracy.**Physical Requirements:**+ Able to lift 30 - 50 pounds.+ Able to climb on a ladder and/or stool and bend for filing.+ Able to stand for long periods of time.Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.CTG does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services for this role.**To Apply:**To be considered, please apply directly to this requisition using the link provided.
