As a systems engineer on our team, you’ll have the chance to assess and evaluate combat weapon systems using computer-based analytical tools, including Excel, MATLAB, and the Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration, or Modeling (AFSIM) analytical framework. Your technical expertise will be vital as you evaluate and modernize combat weapon systems. You’ll develop your skills in critical thinking, data analytics, and operations analysis while gaining experience in constructive modeling and simulation of combat operations. You Have:
Experience with scenario development and performing analytical assessments of combat weapon systems using mission-level constructive simulation tools, including AFSIM, Suppressor, ITASE, or NGTS
Experience with a variety of COTS and GOTS M&S and data science tools, including MATLAB, C++, Perl, or Python, to manipulate data between different formats and perform post-processing of data
Experience developing AFSIM scripts to customize model behaviors and decisions within an analytical scenario
Knowledge of U.S. and foreign combat weapon systems, including aircraft and ground-based air defense systems
Ability to apply Operational Analysis principles, theories, and concepts to execute study plans and analysis matrices
Top Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics field
Nice If You Have:
Ability to analyze large amounts of raw model output to identify key drivers
Ability to distill, summarize, and articulate complex technical insights and findings
TS/SCI clearance
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
