Job Number: R0209502 Vehicle Mobility Technical SME Key Role: Apply engineering physics, engineering mathematics and materials science principles to support the design, analysis, manufacture or maintenance of mechanical systems. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts and contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Work on unusually complex problems and provides highly innovative solutions. Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed actions or decisions and mentor or supervise employees in both firm and technical competencies. Basic Qualifications: 12+ yearsof experience with mechanical or aerospace engineering, including the modeling and simulation oftactical ground vehicles and their components Experience with using MATLAB and Simulink Knowledge of software packages for modeling and simulation of vehicle mobility, including NATO Reference Mobility Model Secret clearance Bachelor's degree and 8 years of experience with mechanical or aerospace engineering Additional Qualifications: Experience with using Git repositories Experience with acting as domain expert in integrated product team developing computer-based models and simulations Experience with multidisciplinary teams developing computer-based models and simulations Knowledge of foreign ground combat systems Knowledge of simulation frameworks, including ODESSA, ITASE, or AFSIM Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills for both in-person and virtual for telephone, video conferences, and developing documentation TS/SCI clearance Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $110,000.00 to $250,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
