Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - NICU 48's

Shift: Days, 6:45a-7:15p, 12x4, 48hrs per week

Length: 13 weeks

Weekend Coverage: Every Other - 4 weekends per contract

Requirements:
  • CA License
  • 1 year experience required
  • BLS
  • NRP
  • Oscillator, Draeger
  • Electronic Documentation required
  • 2 years experience preferred
  • Teaching Hospital Experience preferred
  • Trauma Level I & II Experience preferred

Float REQ: Yes - PICU, nursery, peds up to 5 yrs, TCN

First-Time Travelers Accepted

Avg. Daily Census: 6

Rooms/Beds: 14/24

Patient Population: Neonates-Infants

Shift: Days 3x12

Float REQ: Yes - PICU, nursery, peds up to 5 yrs, TCN

Weekend Coverage: Every Other - 4 weekends per contract

Unit Systems: Pyxis, Cerner

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Years of EXP REQ: 1 yr required, 2 yrs preferred

First-Time Travelers Accepted: Yes

Certs REQ: NRP, Oscillator, Draeger

SKILLS/EXP REQ:

Pt. Dx:

• ISAM

• Micro Premie

Special Procedures:

• Required experience with NICU Level III

• ISAM, Sepsis, UAC, UVC, Draeger Vent, and Oscillator

• Required high risk delivery attendance

Skills:

• Arterial line management

• Blood Product Administration

• Central line care/management

• PICC line management

• Starting IVs

• Continuous IV sedation

• Titrate Vasoactive drips

• Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal

• Assist with management of BiPAP

• Assist with management of CPAP

• Care of Ventilated Patient

• High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)

• Interpretation of ABGs

• Suctioning (ETT, NT)

• Ventilator Management

• Infection Prevention

• Isolation Precautions/ Use of PPE

• Phlebotomy

COVID Vaccination Required.

All RTO MUST BE ON INITIAL SUBMITTAL - Please ensure that all RTO is included for entire length of contract.
