TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Oak Lawn, Illinois, 60453 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Medical-Surgical Job Duration: 10 weeks Shift: 12-hour Night Shift (36 hours per week) Guaranteed Hours: [Information not provided] Experience: Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical RN experience License: Active RN license in Illinois Certifications: BLS (AHA) Must-Have: Experience with EPIC charting system Job Description: - Work in a facility with 749 licensed beds, offering Level 1 Trauma Center services and holding Magnet Designation. - Comprehensive Stroke Center specializing in trauma, medical-surgical, and post-trauma surgery. - Unit includes 37 regular beds and an additional 19 surge beds with a patient ratio of 1:4-5. - Utilize EPIC for charting and manage Alaris IV systems and Pyxis medication dispensing. - Receive support from a free-floating Charge Nurse and share lab draws with RN/phlebotomy team. - Access to 24/7 Respiratory Therapy and Hospitalist services, along with centralized tele monitoring. - Expect one day of orientation to learn unit flow. - Required attire: Navy Blue scrubs. Maintain natural nails with tips less than 1/4-inch long.
