Management does above and beyond to accommodate. Phenomenal call program - no call shift is ever longer than 12-hours. Weekend call is either Friday and Saturday night only OR Saturday and Sunday during the day only. Staff seem to really like that because it doesn’t take away your entire weekend when on call. Feedback from previous travelers: Management is great and overall team dynamic and work environment is very positive compared to other CVORs. Shift: D/E Rotating 2x8s and 2x12s from 06:30-14:30/14:30-22:30 and 06:30-18:30/10:30-22:30. Option for D/E Rotating 5x8s as well 06:30-14:30/14:30-22:30. Shift rotation is required. Adult cardiac surgery patients, vascular, and thoracic, complex and high acuity patients: Cardiac Aortic Aneurysm Repair, MVR, AVR, CABG, ECMO, Heart Transplant, MAZE, LVAD/RVAD, Aortic Balloon/Impella Devices. Thoracic VATS Wedge Resection, VATS/Open Lobectomy, Esophagectomy (Minimally Invasive & Transhiatal), Bronchoscopy, EGD, Mediastinal Mass Removal, Lung Transplant, Laparoscopic & Open Hiatal Hernia Repair. Vascular AAA, EVAR, Carotid Endarterectomy, AV Fistulas, Fem-distal bypass, Fem-fem bypass, SMA bypass, Vein stripping/ablation. Job Requirements At least 2 years of CVOR RN experience, previous travel exp. Call requirements: 2-4 weeknights and 1-2 weekends of call per 4-week schedule.
