What You Will Do:
Guidehouse is seeking an IT Strategy & Governance Consultant to join our team in the Washington Metro area in support of the United States Navy’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) strategy and transformation team. In this role, you will support senior leaders with creating a strategy, roadmap, and governance plan and structure for the implementation of a new enterprise ERP platform.
- Support strategic planning sessions with customer and stakeholders, including creating agendas, materials, and post-session reports
- Collect and analyze data from various stakeholders to understand current state and measure effectiveness of existing policies and governance structures
- Review project plans already in place for ERP modernization, and consolidate to create integrated master plan and strategic roadmap
- Conduct market research on industry best practices related to ERP transformation, and create briefings with findings and recommendations
- Draft communications for outreach to stakeholders on ERP modernization
- Engage with government leaders to identify existing governance processes that can be simplified, while targeting opportunities to implement automation capabilities to streamline decision-making
- Ensure updates to existing processes and policies remain aligned with the overall Department of Navy goals and objectives for technology modernization
- Support policy implementation through established feedback channels with key stakeholders
- As directed by the Government, facilitate working sessions with requirements team to review overall project plan, ensuring alignment on timelines and deliverables
- Conduct research and analysis on emerging governance best practices, providing recommendations to Government leadership
- Provide support to Integrated Product Team sprints, supporting testing, troubleshooting and the development of mitigation strategies to ensure alignment to approved processes and policies
What You Will Need:
- Ability to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance
- Bachelor degree
- Minimum of THREE (3)+ years' of experience supporting clients within the local, state, or federal government
- Experience analyzing data to measure against identified outcomes
- Experience facilitating working sessions with a diverse set of stakeholders
- Experience drafting communications and engaging stakeholders
