We are seeking a focused and dedicated Marketing Coordinator to support the General Manager and Director of Hospitality.
About the Position:
The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of advertising and marketing campaigns of Echolands Winery. The Marketing Coordinator will manage and execute social media, digital, and print campaigns for the company. We are seeking an individual with a high level of polish who can produce photography and collateral that align with our design and brand standards.
We are looking for someone who wants to grow with our company with the prospect of moving towards a full-time opportunity for the right candidate. While the position requires the ability to execute on a variety of marketing efforts, it will be supported from a strategic level by company leadership and on a practical level by outside professional vendors.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Produce valuable and engaging content for our social media channels that attracts and converts our target groups. Execute valuable and engaging content for email and text marketing channels. Serve as documentarian - capture photos & videos, edit their content & maintain our database of print quality materials. Maintain the company website. Manage our company email marketing program through Constant Contact. Oversee and approve marketing material, from website to print materials. Support the front-of-the-house staff and develop a culture of hospitality, based on mutual respect, quality work ethic, and attention to experience. Collaborate closely with the winemaker to understand, communicate, and educate on key winemaking concepts to staff and guests. Make people feel amazing when they are at Echolands.
Job Qualifications:
2+ years in social media marketing. 2+ years of photography, preferred. 1+ years working with Canva, Squarespace, and Constant Contact, preferred. Must possess wine knowledge and wine tasting experience. Must have a high attention to detail. Leadership skills and stewardship of positive culture a must. Ability to communicate clearly, elegantly, and with humility and respect for guests of all levels of wine knowledge. Must possess and model excellent professional work habits: organization, execution, timeliness, and written communication. Proficiency with current technology and business software, including Microsoft Excel, Word, email, POS Systems, etc. Goal-driven and problem-solving mentality. Great sense of humor. History of responsible use of alcohol, and record of proper conduct. Ability to be licensed, permitted, and/or certified by state and local authorities. Clean driving record.
Your Compensation:
$25 - $40 per hour DOE Discretionary Annual Performance Bonuses of 10%+ of base salary – targets set by employee, Director of Hospitality, and General Manager
With an average of 30 hours or more per week, the following benefits include: 401k with 4% match Medical/Dental/Vision/Cancer/Accidental Death Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) as required by Washington’s Paid Sick Leave Initiative 1433. (1 hour for every 40 hours you work, if less than 30 hours per week) OR Three Weeks (15 business days) per year, pro-rated based on employee start date. Paid Holidays (8 per year) Employee wine discounts
