Yes, Varies based on unit needs. Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes, may be floated to other ICUs, PCU floors, ED to care for admitted patients, PACU to care for admitted patients. Patient Diagnoses: Trauma-polytrauma, MVC, penetrating, GSW,CAD, CABG, Burns, ENT Surgeries Open to accommodating block schedule? Yes, but not guaranteed Pending License accepted: Yes RTO Restrictions: Greater than 7 days needs approval Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week, facility is allowed to call off 3x throughout a 13-week assignment Special Requirements: Trauma and Surgical ICU experience required Skills Requirements: Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, Multi-system organ failure, IV insulin protocols, GI surgery, Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, PICC line management, Starting IVs, Continuous IV sedation, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, Interpretation of ABGs, Ventilator Management Job Requirements 1 year of experience required in Trauma and Surgical ICU First-timers accepted On-call requirements vary based on unit needs Weekend requirements vary based on unit needs Clinician may be required to float to meet facility needs Must have ACLS, BCLS certifications Schedule Information 13-26 week contracts 36 or 48 hour weeks (48 hours preferred) Days, nights, and weekends shifts 1:1-2 ratios Varied weekend requirements based on unit needs Open to block scheduling but not guaranteed Unit Specific Information Unit: Trauma/Surgical ICU Ratios: days/nights/weekends: 1:1-2 Floating may be required to other ICUs, PCU floors, ED to care for admitted patients, PACU to care for admitted patients based on unit needs
