As Director, Product Management for Drinking WaterResponsible for all aspects of product management within the Zurn Elkay drinking water category. Provides strategic oversight and management for business priorities and initiatives, including new product development, sustaining, and commercialization activities. Manages long-term priorities to meet financial commitments and continually builds organizational capabilities that provide competitive advantage. Collaborates with counterparts in business development, marketing, operations, sales, finance, and supply chain to deliver innovative new products rooted in deep customer insights, ensure quality of product launches, and improve the quality and cost position of existing products. Provides leadership on and owns key strategic and business opportunities.

Specific duties include:

Leader of drinking water product category business unit with full engagement with all channels and functions. Overall responsibility in determining strategic product line decisions by evaluating end-user unmet needs, market trends, competitors’ products, and shares, etc.

Lead drinking water PLCM process and develop a comprehensive three-year roadmap for the category, inclusive of both product and commercial initiatives.

Leverage product & industry knowledge to drive results within the category, including pricing, NPD commercialization, target selling, etc.

Leads product team through analysis of product readiness for market by application of expertise in threshold acceptance indices and validation testing.

Align with commercial counterparts to develop commercial strategies and execute within the market.

Assures completion of product line ideation and development with conformance to schedules.

Manages resources to guarantee timely completion and due diligence required for product line activity.

Demonstrated track record of ability to drive continuous improvement culture.

Effectively leads cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in engineering, marketing, business management, or related studies required; MBA preferred.

10+ years’ experience, preferably in product management, engineering or marketing.

Experience in driving product and pricing strategies.

Experience in leading product development initiatives.

Prior supervisory and budget experience.
