As an Account General Manager, you will be responsible for overall contract management and serve as the single point of contact for DHCS related to a California state contract. Your role in our missionWe are looking for an Account General Manager with high energy and creativity to work with an innovative and transformative client. In this role, you will:

Cultivate client relationships and be the voice of Gainwell as a trusted advisor and thought leader

Develop a client-centered innovation agenda to proactively engage with clients on their business needs and goals

Harness Gainwell's innovative spirit to meet and exceed contractual commitments

Grow the business through active listening, inquiry, and pairing needs to Gainwell's unique value

Lead, guide, mentor, and grow the team

Manage the financial quality of the account

What we're looking for

Five (5) years of extensive managerial and program administrative experience including responsibility for a combination of management functions such as systems development/maintenance, program planning, policy formulation, organization coordination and control, and fiscal management.

Three (3) years of demonstrated effective communication, organization, and prioritization skills and proven ability to direct and motivate the workforce.

Five (5) years of experience managing a healthcare contract with a government or private sector healthcare payer.

Two (2) years of knowledge of Medicaid and/or Medicare statutes regulations, policies, and standards.

Possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration/Management, or Finance from an accredited college/university. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis, assuming four (4) years for a Bachelor's degree.

This role is remote with frequent travel to Sacramento, CA or willingness to relocate.

Delivers on company’s contractual commitments

Leads, coordinates, and manages the long-term, consultative, client relationship to become the client’s trusted advisor

Establishes and manages a program to achieve client service excellence

Leads all employees who provide services to the client, either directly or indirectly

Develops strategy and obtains buy-in from all stakeholders

Leads large, cross-functional teams

Contributes to the development of innovative principles and ideas

Routinely exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques, and criteria for achieving objectives.

Meets or exceeds financial commitments

Ideal candidates will have a desire and the applicable skills to perform their job responsibilities within the context of maintenance and operations of a large-scale legacy mainframe system, followed by opportunities for incremental modernization to current technologies and improved operational performance over time.

The pay range for this position is $138,200.00 - $197,400.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
