Gainwell is looking for an Account General Manager with high energy and creativity to work with an innovative and transformative client supporting one of the largest and most complex Medicaid programs in the country. In this role, you will:Cultivate client relationships and be the voice of Gainwell as a trusted advisor and thought leaderDevelop a client-centered innovation agenda to proactively engage with client on their business needs and goalsHarness Gainwell innovative spirit to meet and exceed contractual commitmentsGrow the business through active listening, inquiry and pairing needs to Gainwell unique valueLead, guide, mentor and grow the teamManage the financial quality of the accountYour role in our mission
Delivers on company’s contractual commitmentsLeads, coordinates, and manages the long-term, consultative, client relationship to become the client’s trusted advisorEstablishes and manages a program to achieve client service excellenceLeads all employees who provide services to the client, either directly or indirectlyDevelops strategy and obtains buy-in from all stakeholdersLeads large, cross-functional teamContributes to the development of innovative principles and ideasRoutinely exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and criteria for achieving objectivesMeets or exceeds financial commitmentsWhat we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration/Management, Finance, a clinical specialty or equivalent with preference of a Master’s degree in one of these fields10-12 years’ experience in account leadership roles such as sales, delivery or business managementA minimum of ten (10) years’ experience managing a large-scale government or private sector healthcare contract valued at twenty (20) million dollars or moreKnowledge of Medicaid/Medicare regulations/standards, as well as cost reporting, profit and loss, and budget complianceExperience working in a matrixed environmentP & L, sales and risk management skills requiredWhat you should expect in this role
This role will require frequent travel to Oregon with the preference of candidate residence being within the PST time zoneDelivers on company’s contractual commitmentsLeads, coordinates, and manages the long-term, consultative, client relationship to become the client’s trusted advisorEstablishes and manages a program to achieve client service excellenceLeads all employees who provide services to the client, either directly or indirectlyDevelops strategy and obtains buy-in from all stakeholdersLeads large, cross-functional teamContributes to the development of innovative principles and ideasRoutinely exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and criteria for achieving objectivesMeets or exceeds financial commitmentsThe deadline to submit applications for this posting is September 30, 2024.The pay range for this position is $129,200.00 - $184,500.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
