Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Psych Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour Night Shifts (NOC), every 3rd weekend Guaranteed Hours: Experience: License: IA or Compact License in hand Certifications: Must-Have: Experience in psychosis, schizophrenia, substance-induced psychosis, bipolar disorder, and major depression Job Description: - Join a collaborative team on a General Psych Unit which accommodates 21-30 beds. - Work within a nurse-to-patient ratio team approach, typically handling 4-6 patients. - Utilize EPIC for charting to ensure accurate patient records. - Potential to float between different units, including older adult and child/adolescent units. - Engage in administering special procedures such as ECT, with patients being recovered prior to returning to the unit. - Maintain professionalism and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. - Wear appropriate scrub colors including options like Blue-Caribbean, Blue-Light, Blue-Navy.
