Summary:Cosm is seeking an analytical and strategic Email Marketing Manager to join our marketing team. This role will be responsible for optimizing and expanding email marketing efforts, incorporating best practices, testing, personalization, and localization to unlock performance and drive revenue. The ideal candidate will be data-driven and highly analytical, leveraging data to make informed decisions, identify opportunities, and expand the footprint of these channels. The role will be responsible for working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to effectively drive the launch calendar with an eye to constantly optimizing and iterating to achieve the best possible results.
Responsibilities:
Develop and manage email marketing campaign strategy and delivery, including planning, targeting, segmentation, and deployment of email campaigns that align with our business objectives.
Design and manage automated email workflows, including welcome sequences, nurture campaigns, and retention strategies, in partnership with the Product Marketing manager for venues.
Partner with the creative services team to produce creative, persuasive, and succinct copy designed to drive engagement through email marketing.
Ensure accurate and up-to-date reporting on campaign effectiveness and performance to plan, in partnership with the Strategy team. Provide data-driven analysis of initiatives, using data to guide future optimizations of all elements of our email programs.
Track, analyze, report and optimize email marketing - keeping stakeholders informed of performance wins, opportunities, and risks.
Utilize A/B testing and performance analysis to optimize email content, subject lines, send times, and segmentation strategies for maximum effectiveness.
Ensure all email marketing activities comply with relevant regulations, including GDPR, and other applicable laws.
Work closely with the marketing and design team to translate brand and messaging guidelines and creative concepts into compelling emails that resonate with our target audience.
Liaise with sales and CRM administrators to ensure email marketing efforts are delivering in line with their goals.
Establish and sustain day-to-day community management and overall digital brand maintenance.
Manage external email partner and vendor relationships, as well as platforms.
Requirements:
BA/BS degree in Business, Journalism, Communications, Marketing or equivalent preferred
Minimum 5 years of related digital experience in an email marketing, analyst or agency capacity
Experience developing, planning, launching and analyzing email campaigns and digital marketing plans for retail brands.
Strong copywriting skills a plus
Strong presentation and communication skills
Strong project management, multi-tasking and prioritization skills with attention to detail
Highly responsive with ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
Understanding of CRM systems and how to build audience segments.
Experience working with product teams.
Ability to track, analyze, and report on digital metrics to guide future efforts.
Hands on experience working with social media management tools.
Understands digital analytics tools including GA4 (Google Analytics.)
Knowledge of MS Office software & Google Suite.
Availability to work on weekends and holidays to support tentpole moments.
The annualized base salary range for this position in California is $105,000 to $140,000. The base salary offered will factor in internal equity and may also vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and relevant experience, among other factors.
