About the Position

Principal Account Manager

to join our team located in or near

our San Francisco office; on a hybrid schedule of T,W,TH in office.

We’re seeking a

Principal Account Manager

to manage our Enterprise customers. The account manager will develop a territory growth plan for a set of key customers. The ideal candidate will have a sales and technical background. We are looking for self-starters who are prepared to develop and execute against a territory plan and consistently deliver and exceed quarterly revenue targets.

The Principal Account Manager works collaboratively with all appropriate Foursquare resources (Executives, Sales Engineering, Partner/Business Development, Customer Success/Support) to support customer interests, and will understand how to strongly advocate for the customer in harmony with what the Foursquare business needs. In addition to new service adoption and new line of revenue development, this role includes dotted line responsibility for partnership and technical collaboration.

What you’ll do:

Drive revenue, adoption, and market penetration across a set of enterprise accounts

Influence and introduce products and capabilities to prospects that are relevant to the client’s desired outcomes and future scenarios

Work with internal stakeholders and partners to extend reach and drive adoption, address client escalations, and position Foursquare as a leader of thoughts in the space

Maintain a robust sales pipeline; developing and executing against a comprehensive account / territory plan

Manage contract negotiations; collaborating with the appropriate internal stakeholders, and pushing deals to close.

Grow the breadth and depth of our customer relationships and develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts

Moderate travel may be required

What you’ll need:

10+ years of direct sales in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives experience

Familiarity with the geospatial and location technology landscape is highly preferred.

Excellent written and verbal communication, discovery, and presentation skills

Industry expertise in ad tech, with mastery of the landscape, terminology, and excellence in client services

Ruthlessly prioritize work activities across your book of business in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Ability to consistently apply a sales methodology such as Command of the Message, Sandler, Challenger, or Corporate Visions is preferred

Experience working with ad agencies, DSPs, and the online advertising industry and strong knowledge of mobile ad technology

Hybrid Work Schedule for in-person collaboration on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays beginning April 1, 2024. For roles considered remote, this will not apply.

At Foursquare, we are committed to providing competitive pay and benefits that are in line with industry and market standards. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, and specific office location.

The annual total cash compensation range is

$140,000 - $245,000 , however actual salaries can vary based on a candidate’s qualifications, skills and competencies, as well as location.

Salary is just one component of Foursquare’s total compensation package, which includes restricted stock units, multiple health insurance options, and a wide range of benefits!
