D23: The Official Disney Fan Club was established to bring Disney fans closer to the “magic” through one-of-a-kind experiences and special events, quarterly publications, exclusive online content, and opportunities to meet others who share the same affection for Disney, 365 days a year!The D23 Partnerships Professional Intern will have a one-of-a-kind opportunity to work directly with the team who manages and drives sponsorships and partnerships with D23!The approximate dates of this internship are January 2025 - June 2025.What You Will Do
As an intern, you will work with the D23 Sponsorship team. This will give you a unique opportunity to contribute to and understand:Communications:
Assist in drafting and researching partners, partner communications and recaps. Build Keynote presentations for both internal and external partner presentations. Articulate deliverables to third party partners in a professional manner.Project Management:
Coordinate team meetings and agendas, manage master third party strategy calendar, track deliverables against contractual obligations, track sponsor landmarks, and regularly update sponsorship documents and AAR based on team input.Partnership Support:
Assist in brainstorming and master planning to crafting partnership documents. Handle partners and sponsors, including in-person support as well as through digital correspondence.Required Qualifications & Skills
Knowledge and genuine interest in the Walt Disney Company’s past, present and future including films, animation, television and theme parks.Capability to work on multiple projects in a positive, pro-active manner.Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational and follow-through skills.Experience working in a fast-paced environment in both a team and individual setting.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Proven track record of using Keynote, to craft quality, in-depth presentations.Knowledge of creative process and deliverables, with a strong desire to learn even more.Able to work a flexible event schedule, including nights and weekends as needed.Preferred Qualifications
Familiar with D23: The Official Disney Fan Club, and deep knowledge of Disney’s history, brands, processes and culture.Previously completed an internship within the entertainment industry or 1-3 years of experience working in hospitality, event planning, project/program management or marketing/membership.Advanced writing and editing experience.Knowledge of digital online tools such as WordPress.Design, event, and production experience.Education
Be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.A junior, senior or recent graduate working toward a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related field.Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:Be at least 18 years of age.Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.Possess unrestricted work authorization.Additional Information
Candidate should be available to work full time hours (approximately 40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship.This internship is a primarily on-site position -- Student will provide own housing and reliable transportation for work in the Glendale, CA area. Also requires a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated workspace.The pay rate for this internship based in California is $22 per hour.
