Job Summary:

The Sr. Manager, IT Systems is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust IT solutions that encompass data center facilities & rack-scale solutions, public cloud, network and security architecture, and virtualization. This role requires expertise in capacity planning, disaster recovery, global monitoring, and customer-facing solutions. The ideal candidate will drive process improvements and incident management, ensuring seamless operations and innovative solution designs.

By fulfilling these responsibilities, the Sr. Manager, IT Systems will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring it supports the business's operational and strategic objectives both on-premises and in the cloud.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Design innovative IT Data Center Rack scale solutions to meet evolving business needs.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop technical specifications.

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and service delivery.

Plan and execute the migration architecture of infrastructure applications to public cloud platforms.

Conduct regular capacity assessments to ensure IT infrastructure can support business growth.

Design and implement data center facility solutions, including facility power solutions, cooling solution, and infrastructure global interconnectivity solutions.

Ensure optimal layout and efficient use of data center space.

Data Center sourcing experience is a plus.

Design and implement robust global network and security architectures to protect IT assets and data.

Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.

Develop virtualization solutions to optimize resource utilization and improve system performance.

Implement virtualized environments for servers, storage, and networking.

Design and maintain backup solutions to ensure data integrity and availability.

Develop disaster recovery plans and conduct regular testing to ensure business continuity.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

8+ years of proven experience in IT solution design and implementation, with a focus on data center facilities and public cloud solutions.

Strong knowledge of cloud, data center, rack-scale network and security architecture, virtualization, and backup/disaster recovery solutions.

Experience with capacity planning, process improvements, and incident management.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with customers and stakeholders effectively.
